In the kingdom of artists, you will find inspiration.
Whether it's from an oil painting, a handcrafted cherry wood table, a freshly
roasted cup of coffee.
Or a glass sculpture, a hand-made, rice-paper journal or a yellow rain slicker

The Distillery has 119 unique tenants. Here are a few:

Pikto
They had never met, but they had the
same vision.
"I've always dreamed of this place," André Souroujon says. "A
cocoon for photographers. A place where they feel welcome and inspired."
Saul Lederman says: "We want to build a community for photographers — a
place where they can get inspired and actually work."
Last year, Lederman's friend in Mexico told Souroujon's brother about Lederman's
business idea.
The two met in November and created Pikto.
Pikto will have a lounge area and a gallery showing renowned and emerging
artists. (New York photographer Sally Gall's work will be shown on opening
day, June 5). It will offer books, workshops, photofinishing and digital dark room rentals.
They're most excited about being able to offer high-end printing. Photographers
will be able to use work stations that are hooked up to a $250,000 printer.
"Usually, photographers drop their digital film at a lab," Souroujon
says. "At Pikto, in five minutes, they'll have a print. They can make it better — make
this part darker or lighter. You'll regain control over your digital output."
